Tom's Pengembaraan
In Malay, Pengembara means traveler. And Pengembaraan means adventure. I've always fancied myself a bit of an explorer of "brave new worlds" both geographic and otherwise. While I can't deliver prose the likes of Jack London, Joseph Conrad or Herman Melville, I hope this blog helps me document a flavor of my Malaysian adventure.

Even as malaysian, i am utterly disgusted by the the public toilets. Try to avoid it. And cats?? I didnt know that it was legal here to actually serve them as food!! I must say, it's not the usual delicacy.. oh well.. you'll see that most of the bussinesses here are dominated by the chinese, and they can be a little too pushy. Just be careful not to get conned. (ie paying original price for the claimed 'original' item, paying extra for unneccessary service, etc etc..).
Anyway, do enjoy your stay and happy exploring!
